ART ADJUDICATION

» Pupils from various year groups hold their artwork proudly with adjudicator Mr Chris Iliff

We had the pleasure of welcoming Mr Chris Iliff to the school to adjudicate the art work produced by the pupils for the School Eisteddfod this year.
Mr Chris Iliff, who works in the Art Department at Aberystwyth University, enjoyed roaming the school looking at the various art works produced, and had quite a headache when deciding the winners! We thank him for his work.
(Winners' names will be announced during the School Eisteddfod)

WALES DANCE COMPANY

» Camille a Neus, representatives for the Wales Dance Company with year 6 pupils

Year 6 pupils enjoyed a whole afternoon of dancing with professional dancers as the National Dance Company visited the school. With expert help from Camille and Neus, everyone managed to create a beautiful creative dance routine to modern music. Well done everyone!

THE SCHOOL COUNCIL MEET THE POLICE TO DISCUSS TRAFFIC PROBLEMS

» Members of the School Council and Mr Williams meet with PC Chris Tipper

"We invited PC Tipper to the school to discuss the traffic problems that we have. Every day hundreds of cars fill the road next to the school, making the area very busy and dangerous as many drivers also speed. We shared our concerns with him and came to the conclusions of borrowing a camera from the police station in order to record drivers' speeds. We will also be writing a letter to the council to ask for free parking across the footbridge for certain times of the day."
Siwan, School Council Secretary
